Last week, the first edition of WE-HPC – “High-Performance Computing: A New Challenge in Wind Engineering” was held in Bologna from June 30 to July 4, 2025.
The course was a joint initiative of ANIV and ICSC – the National Research Centre in HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing, with the patronage of the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Material Engineering at the University of Bologna.
We had the pleasure to welcome students from a variety of sectors – spanning Physics, Aeronautical Engineering, and Civil Engineering – for an intense and stimulating week of learning and exchange.
A great thank you to all participants, speakers, and collaborators who contributed to making this first edition possible. We look forward to building on this momentum — see you at the next edition!
